"Many old legends speak of the Lady of the White Moon, an ancient being who slumbers in a vast palace on one of Erden's moons. It is said that if one were to visit her there, she would rise from her sleep and offer the visitor a prophecy of their future. Most of Erden's mythical heroes are said to have received advice from her, aiding them in fulfilling their grand destinies. However, these legends offer no hints as to how to get to her palace in the first place. Various plans have been devised, such as building some kind of flying machine or creating a powerful teleportation spell, but only a handful of eccentrics have actually attempted them. Most become discouraged by recurring dreams of their plans failing, often in an extremely spectacular fashion."
"When Artimeia sleeps, she dreams of the future. But because the future is a tangled web of various possibilities, choices, and fates, Artimeia must sleep for ages at a time to properly understand how her actions might change outcomes. Thus, she tries to minimize her role as much as possible in the events that unfold in Erden, taking action only if it's absolutely necessary to ensure the world's survival. This usually amounts to only granting grains of advice to the right people at the right time. However, she understands that dire times call for more dire measures, and she will occasionally join a potential hero to help them fulfill their destiny."
"Artimeia does not originate from Erden—she hails from a distant world that no longer exists. Artimeia's powers of prophecy showed her the impending doom of her world, but instead of heeding her warnings, her peers exiled her as a nuisance.Unsurprisingly, their world was destroyed shortly thereafter. Artimeia drifted through the ocean of stars in deep grief until she arrived at Erden. In her visions, she saw that Erden's future faced many threats, and she swore to do everything in her power to safely guide this world through the dark times ahead. Learning from her prior failure, she isolated herself from the residents of Erden, hoping that subtlety will work where clear warnings had not."
